Caged In Chromat

Drawing from Becca McCharen’s theoretical background in architecture and urban design, Chromat focuses on structural experiments for the human body.

Chromat began in 2010 as an extension of McCharen’s degree in architecture design. Her continued interest in scaffolding, city maps, wearable exoskeletons and the intricacies of undergarments have been explored as each new collection develops.

McCharen was featured in the New York Observer 12 to watch in 2012.

This concept takes nail art to another level…it’s like jewelry for your fingers! Makeup artist Holly Silius and jewelry designer Hannah Warner joined forces to create this collection that was debuted this past Fall season at the Thierry Mugler show.

Ageless Style

I mean, is this not one of the best things you’ve ever seen? These ladies got some serious swag!

For her 2013 Eyewear Collection, designer Karen Walker (in collaboration with blogger Ari Seth-Cohen) chose models that were between the ages of 65 and 92. Why? Who knows…but I LOVE IT. (full article here)

Trending: Mirrored Lenses

Bright colored, mirrored lenses made a big hit during New York Fashion Week back in September 2012. Now, they’re popping up everywhere in all shapes and colors. I started off by buying a wayfarer knockoff but it felt really cheap and fit a little bit crooked, so after trying on the Ray Ban flash mirror lenses in Green Flash, I decided to invest in a quality pair. I’ve posted a bunch of different styles below!
